BZ Lewis BZ was once named best guitarist in all of Texas. But thats nothing, really. BZ can do the rubics cube in 45 seconds flat and he built a recording studio from the ground up. However, his most impressive talent is his uncanny ability to make human and un-human sounds come right out of his mouth. He has degrees in Classical guitar from the university of Texas at Austin and recording engineering. BZ loves bean and cheese burritos, cycling in San Francisco in the wee hours of the night, and his two sons. He is popTunaÕs chief engineer as well as producer, composer, programmer, and cool sound maker. Monica Pasqual Monica spent a good part of her first four years underneath her familyÕs grand piano operating the pedals while her father played Mozart. She liked the swirly sounds and later got in trouble with her piano teacher for using too much pedal while playing Bach. With a touch to the keys, Monica brings the beautiful, the avant-garde, and the heart-wrench to life. She follows her instincts and knows exactly what isnÕt needed in a composition. She loves reading Vanity Fair, taking long baths, politics, and Mexican food. SheÕs producer, composer, and ambassador of popTuna. Renee Harcourt Even though she was forced to play piano from age 4 through 8, it wasnÕt until she discovered guitar (and the boys who played them) at age 12 that she really became interested in music. Her father was an accomplished Jazz musician which kept their living room filled with Bebop. But Pop, R&B, Folk, Blues, Bluegrass, and Country seeped out of ReneeÕs room. Renee brings nothing to popTuna because she hasnÕt shown up for work in months. She loves good design, being a mom, oysters and crying. She is a producer, composer, and co-engineer for popTuna.
